Pretty wild that Ryan Gosling is returning to Hollywood to play Ken in the Barbie movie after sitting on his backside and doing sweet F all since 2018. What a gig to add to his CV alongside La La Land, The Notebook, Crazy Stupid Love and Drive. Does this lad know how to get the ladies all hot and bothered or what!
I’m not sure what kind of movie ‘Barbie’ is going to be but hopefully they’ll be taking the mick out of themselves and being all tongue-in-cheek rather than make a serious attempt at a Barbie movie. The pink dream house, pink car, crazy bright colours everywhere and Ken being a total dummy while Barbie runs off with GI Joe or something.
And to think they almost cast Amy Schumer as Barbie. No bueno.
