Drake dropped his new album Scary Hours 3 at midnight last night, and has left everyone baffled with the writing credits on the track ‘Wick’:

It all seemed to add up, given that Drake and De Bruyne had hung out before, and that the Man City star has been bigging up Drake on Twitter for years:
Drake’s album take care. One of the albums i can listen without changing one song

Surely then, the Premier League assist king had a hand in writing at least some of the lyrics to ‘Wick Man’, right?
I’m almost expressionless
John Cena wouldn’t know emotions I wrestlе with
Play ’bout the fact I was born a perfectionist
Still can’t еven wrap my mind around the success of this
Point me to your boss, you a receptionist
I really hate the fact I make this shit sound effortless
I put so much thought into the messages
It’s borderline obsessiveness, remember who you messin’ with
Well, sadly not. Despite going along with it for a while on Twitter, KDB eventually admitted that he is not in fact the ‘K De Bruyne’ in question:
all jokes aside, it’s not me! Huge fan though!

Fair enough really. Can’t expect the the man to be assisting on and off the pitch, can we? Although he has been injured for a while so it’s not like he hasn’t got the time on his hands. Get well soon, Kevin!
