For the uninitiated, Yung Filly is a massively famous British influencer best known for his work with the Beta Squad and has also presented shows on BBC Three. He’s also appeared on Soccer Aid on ITV and The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4.
Despite his popularity, Yung Filly has always seemed like a bit of a weirdo (receipts coming up), and sure enough, the 29-year-old, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has just been arrested in Australia after being accused of rape by a woman in her 20s in a Perth hotel.
The full charges include four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure on or to their neck.
It’s alleged Yung Filly brought a woman in her 20s back to his hotel room after he had performed at the nightclub Bar1 in Perth (oh, he’s also a wannabe rapper). According to The Sun, Aussie police investigating the allegations say they have an “extremely strong” case that includes CCTV footage of the social media star.
Anyway, since the news broke, the internet has been digging up old videos of Yung Filly which may or may not suggest that he had a bit of a problematic personality:

Now obviously none of these clips prove anything and it wouldn’t be fair to outright call Yung Filly a rapist or predator until the police are done investigating and he’s had his day in court, but it’s not looking good for the influencer. Will also be interesting to see how his peers react to the news given he’s worked with everyone and their mothers at one point or another over the last decade on YouTube and beyond.
Meanwhile, projects that Yung Filly had filmed with the FA and M&S have now been removed/cancelled.
