I’m not going to say I called this a while ago, but the situation with the fake Madeleine McCann definitely seems to have unravelled faster than even I could have predicted after it was revealed that there was absolutely no chance of her being the most famous missing girl of all time.

It was only a couple of days ago that Wendell announced she was asking for money in a fundraiser to help her get back on her feet because she needed to hire a lawyer for some unknown reason, and now she’s taken to Instagram yet again with the promise of ‘final revelations’ about her time over the last few weeks with weird private investigator/psychic Dr Fia Johansson. She also swore quite a lot in the post which indicates that she hasn’t exactly been that happy with the situation the whole time.

Here’s what she had to say:

Finally I can say f**k off to everyone who can’t use (their) brain and can’t see reality with (their) own eyes.

Tomorrow I will say everything (that) I want to say about what happened in the last weeks.

And it will be my last statement about this f***ing s**t. It’s not worth it.

I said truth all this time and tomorrow I will say true things too.

When I first met Fia for the first time I thought she wanted to help me.

Now I know she wants only new followers, new clients.

Well that certainly sounds like it’s going to be one for the ages doesn’t it, but it did seem glaringly obvious from the very start of this relationship that it was all going to end in tears. Excited to see what she comes out with today/tomorrow, although I imagine it will just be something that keeps the back and forth going on even longer to ensure they both still stay in the spotlight a bit longer. What did anyone expect?
