There’s no denying that Making A Murderer was a cultural phenomenon when it was released a couple of years ago and all of us were eager to find out just how the story of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey ended.

I’m not sure if we’re going to find out how it ends in the second part of Making A Murderer, but nevertheless it’s coming to our screens in ten days and judging by this trailer, it looks like it’s going to be as dramatic and intriguing as the first. The story picks up immediately after the last series by the looks of things, focussing on prominent post conviction lawyer Kathleen Zellner’s attempts to try and get Avery out of prison. The series will also follow Brendan Dassey’s lawyers as they attempt to overturn his conviction too, and it already looks like there’s going to be a bunch of revelations and twists and turns just from the trailer:

Yeah, they’ve certainly amped the drama up again as that’s a pretty big hole in the case about Theresa Halbach’s cell phone being miles and miles away, isn’t it? Unfortunately (spoilers), anyone who has even kept up a casual interest in the case since the first season aired will know that Dassey and Avery are still rotting away in prison despite the best efforts of everyone involved. So no matter what happens we know how it ends up which is kinda annoying.

There’s no way that even if he gets out that it’ll be that dramatic in whatever part/series that happens in too which is kinda a bummer, although I shouldn’t really value somone’s lack of freedom over my entertainment. Just saying it’s a weird show to get excited about now when most of the information about it is already online. I’ll still be tuning in though, duh.
