With three big name porn star deaths in 2024 – Jesse Jane, Kagney Linn Karter and Sophia Leone – we all feared the worst when Emily Willis went into a coma following her cardiac arrest last year.
The 25-year-old adult film star eventually woke up from her coma, but sadly remains in a vegetative state, where she’s at least able to track things with her eyes, smile, and even become emotional during conversations.
Unfortunately, doctors aren’t anticipating any further improvement beyond that, and aren’t even too sure how Emily Willis ended up with ‘locked-in syndrome’ in the first place.
Doctors have been unable to determine the root cause of what led to Emily’s cardiac arrest, especially since toxicology reports determined there were no drugs in her system. In fact, she was in rehab at the time, where she weighed just 80lbs (36kg!) when checking herself in. Even at 5’5, that is obviously a dangerously low weight and could suggest organ failure/cardiac arrest from malnourishment.
For what it’s worth, a popular Emily Willis fanpage with over 33,000 followers (including Emily herself) has now announced they will be ‘retiring’ and shutting down the page, having seemingly accepted that an Emily Willis comeback is not on the cards, given her tragic circumstances at the moment.
The admin of emilywillis_sexyfanpage wrote: “Hello everyone this will be my 2000 and last post on this page. I was thinking about retiring this page a month after hearing the news about Emily. Want to thank everyone who ever supported this page and wish everyone a good life. Will be praying everyday for @emilywillisx3 to recover from what she has.
“Also thank you Emily for following and supporting this page means a lot to me. Also support Emily gofundme page with the link in my page. Bye everyone and thank you for the support these past few years.”
The GoFundMe in question was started up by Emily’s family last year to help cover her medical bills and other expenses. Emily’s dad says they needed to do this as they’re unable to access Emily’s funds, which are currently locked and do not list her family as beneficiaries. It’s currently raised over $100k, so good to see people are helping out.
