There’s been a lot of speculation recently about a ‘Game Of Thrones’ sequel series based around the character of Jon Snow, but now Emilia Clarke has pretty much confirmed that it’s 100% happening.

Clarke was speaking to BBC News to promote her new stage show ‘The Seagull’ and said the following when asked about the possibility of the sequel show:

He [Kit Harington] has told me about it. And I know it exists.
It’s happening.
It’s been created by Kit as far as I can understand, so he’s in it from the ground up.
So what you will be watching, hopefully, if it happens, is certified by Kit Harington.
I won’t be appearing though. I think I’m done with the franchise.
Well, there you have it. Straight from the dragon’s mouth so to speak.
This isn’t really much of a spoiler as the series finished over three years ago, but we know that Jon Snow headed north beyond the wall to hang out with the Wildlings so you can imagine he can pretty easily get put through the ringer up there in any new episodes. There’s a lot of potential for this new era of Westeros. Should be a pretty gnarly show – hopefully it won’t be too long until we can see it.
