You would think that being the child of a billionaire meme lord was the greatest privilege ever, but apparently not in the case of Elon Musk’s transgender daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson (formerly known as Xavier Alexander Musk), who hates her dad with a passion and has been estranged from him for some time now.

Vivian was born Xavier Musk to Elon Musk and his wife Justine Wilson in 2002. In 2022, Vivian announced that she had legally changed her name and gender, saying she didn’t want to “be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Musk has continued to refer to Vivian as his son and said that she was “dead – killed by the woke mind virus” after being “tricked” into approving gender reassignment surgery and that he had “lost” his son, who went from this:

Vivian has previously spoken out about what it was like growing up with Musk as a father, despite him only being around ‘maybe 10 percent of the time.’ She claims on the rare occasion Musk was around he was ‘cold’ and ‘very quick to anger’, calling him ‘uncaring and narcissistic.’
She even offered an example: a road trip she went on with Elon Musk when she was in fourth grade. Vivian claims she ‘didn’t know’ at the time but the ‘road trip’ was ‘actually just an advertisement for one of the cars’. During the journey, Musk was ‘constantly’ and ‘viciously yelling’ at her ‘because [her] voice was too high’.
I’m sure there’s a lot more to their falling out and estrangement (I’m guessing she doesn’t appreciate her dad’s MAGA views and general anti-trans sentiments) but it sure doesn’t sound like father and daughter will be making up any time soon. Still, I do wonder whether Vivian has also removed herself from Elon’s fortune and future will? Now that would be a hell of a sacrifice right there.
