Elon Musk is a fairly polarising character and I’m sure that this image will have been projected even further when he debuted his ridiculously looking Cybertruck towards the end of last year and was widely mocked by most of the internet because it looked so stupid and didn’t even work properly in his demo.

Musk was papped on Instagram, before the footage eventually made it to Twitter where it quickly went viral and Elon Musk himself retweeted it:
Imagine seeing this next to you in traffic🙀

Yeah, that looks even stupider than I thought it would do out on the LA freeway with a load of regular looking cars around it acting all normal. I guess it might end up working if every car on the planet slowly starts to look more futuristic and sci fi esque, but that hasn’t really happened in the last twenty years, so I’m fairly sure this is gonna fail and Elon is just gonna look stupid. I suppose you have to rate the guy for backing his product though and still driving around in it, even when the whole world is dissing it and him. Fair play.
For more of the same, check out Elon Musk’s claims about how many CyberTrucks he’s already sold. Not sure if I’m believing him there.
