For someone who runs 5 major companies, Elon Musk sure does spend a lot of time Tweeting and browsing the internet. The other day, he even got into the spirit of create-your-own pronoun culture by tweeting his own:

Musk was of course referring to Dr Anthony Fauci, who was America’s top doctor during the pandemic and advised the White House on what policies should be brought in to stop the virus spreading. Musk’s tweet ruffled a few feathers, including those of NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, who kindly asked that Musk not make jokes about pronouns:

Musk was not having it:

Musk first made his feelings on gender pronouns known back in 2020, when he controversially tweeted the following:

It’s a tricky one really. Some will say that respecting people’s choice of pronouns is simply a nice thing to do that costs nothing and shows respect to your fellow humans. Others say that we shouldn’t embrace the idea that people can choose/create their own pronouns just to be ‘nice’, especially if the concept makes little practical sense and is permeating laws around discrimination. In any case, it’s clear where Elon Musk stands on the matter, though you might’ve thought someone who names their kid X Æ A-12 Musk would be more relaxed over something like this.

As for his beef with Fauci, I’m sure he’s got enough $$$ in the bank to hire a whole team to collect evidence for the things he’s accusing him of. Maybe he can leave that task to one of the other 30 half-Chinese Elons running around the planet.
