Ever since that Twitter thread went viral with people sharing their worst Ellen Degeneres stories, more and more people have come forward with their own experiences exposing Ellen for the rude, vindictive, abusive arsehole that she’s long been rumoured to be.

The NY Post this week shared a couple more stories, and they include the time Ellen was unbelievably petty towards a waitress that served her. Read below:
Chris Farah, 35, an actress and stand-up comic, was one of the posters. She said she was a waitress at a vegan restaurant in LA in March 2014 when DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, came in for brunch. Farah said DeGeneres was not particularly friendly but didn’t complain about anything to her.
A week later, Farah’s manager pulled her aside.
“He asked me if I’d served Ellen,” Farah told The Post. “I was really excited for a minute. I thought maybe she wanted to use me in her show. Then he told me that Ellen had written to the owner complaining that I had chipped nail polish. I couldn’t believe it. She’s so busy and rich. Why would she f–k with me?”
That was followed by a story about the time Ellen called up Steve Jobs to complain about her iPhone. Not even kidding:
A former associate producer recalled being in Ellen’s office several years ago when the star lost her glasses and couldn’t read a text on her iPhone.
“She stopped everything and made a call,” the producer said. “Next thing we know, we literally hear [Apple CEO] Steve Jobs pick up and say, ‘Hi, Ellen’ … Ellen told him the iPhone should have a bigger font. That’s her. It’s not that she’s some demon. She just lives in an incredibly privileged bubble and is out of touch with the real world.”
Imagine what a high opinion you would need to have of yourself to actually call the CEO of the biggest company in the world to complain that the iPhone should have bigger font, all because you lost your glasses and couldn’t read a text. And to do it within earshot of your staff so they know how ruthless and powerful you are. Just next level narcissism and egomania going on there.
But that’s nothing compared to the way she messed with the waitress just trying to make ends meet by serving vegan food to pretentious, gassed up wankers like Ellen. It’s crazy enough that she even noticed the waitress had chipped nail polish, let alone the fact she complained about it to her manager in writing. I can’t imagine the average person taking the time out of their day to do that, let alone a busy, multi-millionaire TV host like Ellen. I mean really think about how utterly insane that is.
It’s impossible to say whether every single story coming out about Ellen is true, but when you’ve got literally hundreds of people with unique stories about how terrible you’ve treated them, chances are there’s a lot of truth to it. Is Ellen about to become one of the cancelled celebrities of the coronavirus era? We’ll have to wait and see.
