Egypt is obviously well known for its pyramids, but what if someone called them out on the fact that they haven’t actually built any new ones in over 2000 years? I guess there are more pressing things to deal with these days, but this week comes officials announced plans for a project named Zayed Crystal Spark in Cairo’s Sheikh Zayed City.
The project is set to cover 8.5 milion square feet which will include administrative, commercial and entertainment buildings but most newsworthy of all; a 650-foot pyramid-shaped skyscraper which will also become Egypt’s tallest building.
