21-year-old Dan White chose quite possibly the worst time to split up with his girlfriend – just before she won the £61million EuroMillions jackpot. Bet he’s absolutely kicking himself.

And to add insult to injury, his ex Courtney Davies’ sister and boyfriend, who she has handed £12million of the winnings to, lives next door to Dan. Gutted mate.

So not only is he now lonely and skint, but he’s got to watch his ex’s sister and partner living it up knowing that it could have been him. He said:

All my mates are savaging me about this – the first I knew of their win was my phone going nuts.

The boys were all sending me links and jokey snapchats asking if I was gutted.

One said: ‘How much have you cried since you found out mate?’

He added that even before the jackpot, things have been pretty awkward with the nextdoor neighbours ever since the split. Well, it’s about to get a hell of a lot more awkward buddy.

To find out they’ve now won the lottery I’m happy for them – but obviously feel like it could have been me.

I just put my head in my hands.

She could give me a million a year for the two years I went out with her – I wouldn’t say no to that.
