You wouldn’t really expect a thugged out rapper to have that kind of upbringing, but it turns out Drake did have that sort of privilege as a kid judging by this letter he shared on Instagram earlier:

So when this guy was rapping about how he “Started From The Bottom”, what did he actually mean? He was a fairly successful child actor growing up, was going nuts with his mum’s credit card on Ebay in 2006, and then became a famous rapper in his early 20s.
Whatever the case, something tells me he did good on his word and paid his mum back:
