Welp, it was only a matter of time. During a rally in Ohio last night, Donald Trump ripped into Joe Biden, called Nancy Pelosi an “animal”, suggested the death penalty for drug dealers and human traffickers, and then said he would be making a ‘very big announcement’ on November 15th:
Trump says he will be “making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.”
The most important thing you should focus on right now is voting against all of his Republican enablers. pic.twitter.com/f26jpMJkXT

Any guesses? Maybe he’s bringing back the US version of The Apprentice? Maybe he’s going back to the WWE? Or maybe he’s about to run for President again which means we can brace ourselves for another insane run of back and forths between him and Joe Biden in the lead-up to the elections in 2024. Either way, it looks like America is going to end up with another 80-year-old in office. They sure know how to pick them, don’t they?
Elsewhere in his speech, Trump said:
“We are a nation that is no longer respected or listened to anywhere around the world. We are a nation that in many ways has become a joke.”
Well I mean that’s been true for several years now no matter who’s been in charge, and I’ve got a feeling things are going to get a lot crazier still. Later today, Americans will cast their vote in elections that could result in Republicans winning control of one or both chambers of Congress. New Twitter boss Elon Musk is recommending people vote Republican – controversial!
To independent-minded voters:
Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic.

According to Reuters, Republicans are set to pick up roughly 25 seats in the 435-seat House of Representatives, more than enough to win a majority. Analysts say Republicans could also pick up the one seat they need to win control of the Senate. So no wonder Trump is feeling cocky ahead of announcing his 2024 Presidential run. Buckle up!
