I remember when Donald Trump became President and South Park said they weren’t going to bother satirising it because they wouldn’t be able to do it justice because literally so much dumb stuff was going to happen and I’m sad to say that they were completely correct.

The worst thing about it all though is that things just keep getting dumber. Take this latest meme that’s been created by Donald Trump Jr as a response to Nike’s decision to make Colin Kaepernick the face of the 30th anniversary of the Just Do It campaign. It really is the height of immaturity:

I mean not only is this the height of immaturity but it’s pretty gross how Donald Trump Jr just blindly follows and loves his dad so much. I mean maybe that’s nice for some people to see but for me it seems kinda a bit too loved up and weird.

The other thing about it is that the meme is completely and utterly wrong and spreading blatant lies. Colin Kapernick effectively gave up his career to protest for what he believed in whereas Trump has lived a life full of privilege with a $1 million trust fund and a private education. Sure, somehow he’s managed to become a billionaire and wind up as the most powerful man on the planet, but I don’t really think that he’s made the same sacrifices to get there that a lot of other people have in their respective careers. Go fuck yourselves, both of you.
