Coming this summer from Disney and smacking you straight in the nostalgia bone is a reboot of 80s/90s classic ‘DuckTales’ (woo ooh!) with a voice cast including David Tennant as the original Scottish moneybags Scrooge McDuck, and hilarious dudes Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Rec), and Bobby Moynihan (SNL) as his nephews Huey, Duey and Louie. The show looks genuinely gorgeous with a refreshingly modern art style and is directed by Dana Terrace who also worked on cult hit ‘Gravity Falls’.

Well after a second trailer dropped featuring Donald Duck having a pretty rough time of it, fans noted the not so subtle reference to the intro of another anthropomorphic cartoon show and stuck the Bojack theme on it to be shared by the shows creator Lisa Hanawalt on Twitter.

It’s doubtful ‘DuckTales’ will be tackling some of the more adult themes in Bojack such as drug addiction and mental illness, most likely Disney will stick with tales lost lamps and robot ducks. Either way it looks ducking great.
