The Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery are set to release the first ‘dog-to-English’ translator this April, after smashing its fundraising target with crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.
The ‘No More Woof’ works by analyzing animal thought patterns and spelling them out in English. Translations discovered so far include ‘I’m tired’, ‘I’m excited’ and ‘who are you?’

The team does stress however that this is a work in progress and the first version will be quite basic and limited.
But eventually they’re confident they’ll be able to reach their ultimate goal of two-way communication between humans and dogs.
