A couple of dogs were left in the car by their owner recently, which I guess is totally fine so long as it’s not too hot outside.

One thing that’s not fine is leaving the motor on, which is exactly what this elderly woman did when she popped into the local Walmart for her weekly food shop. To be fair, she said she left it on in order to keep the dogs cool, but still probably not the best idea.

The dogs were obviously super pissed that they had been abandoned for the hour and so decided they would take the car for a joyride (obviously I’m joking – I think we all know dogs are super chill).

A witness said that she was stood in front of the shop when she saw the car moving from its parking space in her direction. As the vehicle got closer and she saw that the driver was in fact a dog, the woman thought someone was playing a trick on her.

However, it didn’t stop and as she edged out of the way, the car crashed into the store. Unbelievably, the other dog in the back seat managed to roll the window down, allowing them both to jump out to safety. Luckily both dogs are fine, no one was hurt and there was minimal damage to the shop. Maybe that woman should think about getting the bus from now on – or perhaps let her dogs take care of the driving.
