Disney’s New Roller Coaster May Be Able To Fly Off The Track

I’m not really sure how this can be real but it’s gone up on the Wealth IG page (6M followers) that Disney has filed a patent for a roller coaster that jumps off the track, with a few other dubious websites reporting it as well.

I mean I guess it’s technically possible, with people way smarter than you and I figuring out the perfect speed/weight/velocity to ensure the ride can jump from one track to the other without killing everyone on board. But then, don’t you have to account for different weather conditions? The total weight of each group of passengers ?

Just seems like something that has the capacity to go catastrophically wrong unless everything is perfect everytime. One strong wind and it’s over!

Either way, you can count me out. No way I’m going anywhere near this death machine. I think even 11-year-old me would have a hard time mustering up the courage to get on it. That’s if I could even convince my parents to let me. Good luck to Disney if it’s real though.
