Remember Buzz from Home Alone? What an absolute dick that kid was. Definitely one of the greatest TV bullies of all time. He had a pet tarantula and wouldn’t even let his 8-year-old brother sleep in his room – the worst big bro a kid could ever have!

Well turns out Buzz is a bit of a prat in real life too, as actor Devin Ratray, 44, has this week been arrested for domestic violence after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

As per US Weekly, Ratray turned himself in at the Oklahoma City Police Department following the incident earlier this month. He’s since been released on a bond of $25,000 (£18,655) but denies the allegations.

Apparently, Ratray attacked his girlfriend after she gave out his signed autograph cards to fans without charging for them. The couple had been drinking at a bar where they got into an argument over it, and Ratray then allegedly punched, pushed and strangled her when they returned to their hotel room.

An affidavit alleges that Ratray told his girlfriend ‘this is how you die’ as he was choking her, and the woman had to bite his hand to get him to release her.

If you were wondering what Ratray had been up acting-wise post-Home Alone, he’d been filling roles on Law & Order: SVU and was in the Ryan Reynolds horror film ‘R.I.P.D’. In 2007, he took part in a weird documentary called ‘Courting Condi’, where he tried to seduce Condoleeza Rice. What?

He also made a cameo as the same character in the recent Disney+ reboot, Home Sweet Home Alone. But somehow I doubt Disney will go anywhere near him now following this news. Way to go, Buzz.
