Footage has emerged of British heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora headbutting a Deliveroo driver in Hampstead, London, this week, although it’s still unclear why the two were quarreling in the first place. Maybe the driver forgot his barbecue sauce?

Chisora isn’t exactly known for his impulse control, and so unleashed a devastating headbutt which put the Deliveroo rider on the ground:

Ouch. That was a proper headbutt too the way he pulled in from the collar with the crown of his forehead; definitely not the first time Chisora has delivered one of those, clearly.

Social media commenters are wondering why anyone would mess with Derek Chisora in the first place, and theorising that maybe Chisora lashed out because the rider was cycling on the pavement where people were eating, but X user tobilovemakin was at the scene and saw exactly how it went down:

“I was there, he wasn’t cycling he was walking, Deliveroo guy did nothing wrong. It definitely looks that way from the video but Derek grabbed him first and wouldn’t let him go (imagine how strong his grip would be) and the delivery guy asked over and over for Derek to let him go so eventually he’s decided to defend himself.

This was happening for about 2 or so mins before this video was taken, the guy 100% didn’t know that was Derek chisora as well.”

So, it’s anyone’s guess what prompted Chisora to grab and then brutally headbutt a man half his size, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has an assault conviction coming his way. Which wouldn’t be the first time, of course. Has he been tested for CTE yet or what?
