The England and Tottenham Hotspur star’s ex-partner recently left the luxury £2.2 million mansion near Elstree, Hertfordshire, they shared to return to her family home 100 miles away in Wigston, Leicestershire.

Her father David Barnacle told MailOnline: ‘They’ve split up, it’s sad but quite amicable and she’s back home with us for the forseeable future.’

Looks like Dele got ahead of himself with those “flirty texts about the weather” though, because Megan Barton Hanson told Capital Breakfast earlier that she’s absolutely not interested:

It wasn’t a thing. We can say there are a lot of rumours out there.

When asked if she’d be ‘swapping shirts’ with Alli, she flat out replied:

No.

It’s like every boy that’s in a metre radius of me I’m linked with. So just don’t come near me.

Damn, talk about throwing a spanner in his works. Is it too late for Dele to go crawling back to Ruby Mae? Is it too late to say sorry? Probably. But hey, the guy’s 22 years old, I’m sure he’ll be onto the next one in no time. 

I wonder if it was Delle Alli’s sex tape that turned her off?
