What a few days it’s been for Dean Gaffney. First, a bunch of OnlyFans girls got together to share cringe DMs he’d been sending them on social media, and now news is breaking that he got run over by Chelsea footballer Wesley Fofana on the King’s Road in Chelsea.
Interestingly, this story has just come out despite the fact the incident occurred in December 2022. If we didn’t know better we’d say Dean is trying to bury the OnlyFans DM story with something more sympathetic, as he did end up sustaining a broken collar-bone in the accident.
A source told The Sun: “It was a nasty accident and Dean said afterwards that he was lucky to be alive and was counting his blessings. He’d just left a nightspot and was trying to get in a black cab when the Lamborghini hit him in the midriff, catapulting him into the air. He was out cold and his mates were all really worried. The emergency services gave him pain relief and he was patched up in hospital.”
Sounds nasty. £230,000-a-week Fofana was breathalysed at the scene and passed the test so was allowed to go home as he was not deemed to be at fault for the accident. Could be that Fofana was calmly driving along as Gaffney raced across the road to chat up an Instagram model, and had no time to brake before smashing into him. No wonder Gaffers was so busy DM’ing girls on social media – the guy was bored out of his nut in hospital!
The source said Gaffney had never spoken about the December 2022 accident because there was “no blame attached” and it “was not anybody’s fault”. Or maybe he was just saving it for a rainy day like when the top Dean Gaffney news stories are about him chatting up Eastenders fans and DM’ing models.
Well anyway, at least we can now take ‘Wesley Fofana running over Dean Gaffney’ off our 2024 bingo cards. I mean, it was bound to happen at some point, wasn’t it? I guess he should count himself lucky it wasn’t Marcos Alonso behind the wheel…
