By now, we all know that David Bowie was fully aware that death was knocking on his door, as exemplified by certain references in some of the lyrics of his final album released on January 8th.

The account (@TheTweetofGod) is actually linked to a Broadway play and (obviously) not linked in any way to the big man himself.
When news got out, the person behind the account dropped the most perfect Tweet possible:
