It feels really weird sharing this on the site but Dave Courtney’s family and friends have themselves decided to put the footage online, I guess in order to shut down any conspiracy theories around Courtney’s death and maybe give closure to anyone who’s feeling a certain way about it.
The old school London gangster-turned-actor filmed this clip 3 months before he was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head at his home, and seems extremely content as he explains his decision to take his life:

Well, hopefully this video brings peace to Courtney’s family and friends and anyone else affected by his death. It’s still a heartbreaking watch and makes you think about people who are chronically ill or living with chronic pain day to day. What’s good to see is that Dave Courtney doesn’t appear sad or angry at all, just resolved and understanding of his own choices. RIP to a legend of the game.
