Much like when it was discovered that Jesse Pinkman starred in a Dashboard Confessional video, it’s today been revealed that everyone’s favourite crossbow wielding zombie killing son of a bitch Daryl Dixon also got his big break in a music video. It also has to be said that appearing in a Radiohead video is way cooler than appearing in a Dashboard Confessional video, even if emo was big back then.
The song is Fake Plastic Trees and it came out way back in 1995. Although it’s kind of blurry in the video below because it came out in the 90s, you can clearly see Norman Reedus (Dixon’s real name) at 2:43, 3:05 and 4:09 pushing a trolley around and looking a bit mental. Not sure what he was doing in between this and landing the role in Walking Dead about 15 years later, but hey at least he finally found a good showcase for his talents.
