A Lesson In Grenades

Where in the world would a normal guy find a hand grenade in their garage? Croatia apparently. Marko was trying to fashion a chimney cleaning tool. He wanted to attach a brush to a chain and needed something to weigh the brush down. In his mad cap mind the metal hand grenade he found was a perfect shape and size.

Marko was pretty handy and got to work welding an arc between the piece of chain and the grenade. Now, I don’t know if any of you out there realise this, but grenades are explosive? Did you know that? It seems Marko hadn’t quite figured that out, and as the explosives within the weapon heated up, they inevitably went pop.

The pressure from the explosion destroyed Marko and the surrounding area entirely. The chimney was not harmed.

So, before you go about your daily business today, make a special point to avoid chemistry, guns, grenades and falling from heights. That should ensure a safe and productive day for you all.
