Chemistry Lesson 2
Here’s a second reason why chemistry should be banned at schools. It gives people bad ideas. Stewart, a high school student in NY had always had an interest in science. In a school chemistry lecture he’d enjoyed watching the reactive nature of lithium, sodium, and potassium when they interact with water. Stewart noticed that all of these chemicals were on the same line on the periodic table and also noted that the last one on that list and hence the most reactive one was cesium.
Stewart saved up some cash and managed to buy just 10g of cesium off of eBay with the help of his dad’s credit card. 10g doesn’t sound like much, but it’s enough to do a butt-tonne of damage.
He went out on a boat on Lake Eerie, took the cesium from its protective case and, we presume, lobbed it in.
The explosion was heard 5 miles away and Stewy-pops was never seen again.
