Bee Hive Hazard

In Brazil in 2002 a farmed in São Paulo decided he needed to remove a bee hive from his orange tree. He knew caution must be exercised, bees like to sting you if you frig about with them. FYI: honey bees are the only species of bee to die after they’ve stung you, and there’s around 20,000 different bee species in all.

Any how, back to our hero… he knows he has to protect himself from the stings, so he puts a plastic bag over his head and seals it tight round his neck. After a few hours he still hadn’t returned so his wife went out to find him. She found him dead, not from the bees’ fury, but from the lack of oxygen inside his plastic helmet.
