One of the strangest moments of the World Cup final was when ‘celebrity chef’ Salt Bae ended up on the pitch getting photographs with all the players and posing with the World Cup like he had just won the damn thing himself.

Most people realised that this made him a major dickhead, but in case anyone wasn’t yet convinced Dan Bilzerian of all people has come out of the woodwork to expose him for being even more of a weirdo than we thought. Dan released the following video on his Instagram, where he shares pictures of the DMs that Salt Bae has seemingly been sending him for years without any reply.

That’s so weird isn’t it? I guess that it just shows that Salt Bae has been desperate to get famous for years and is willing to target whoever he can to try and make his dreams come true. It’s even funnier when Dan says that he never followed him or even slightly acknowledged any of the messages he was receiving either.
I suppose in fairness to Salt Bae though he’s done pretty well for himself celebrating on the pitch in the World Cup final, although the price of that is that now everyone thinks he’s a complete dickhead. The peak of his life immediately followed by a worldwide public outcry into his behaviour. Was it worth it? Time will tell.
