Love him or hate him, you can’t really deny that Dan Bilzerian is the Instagram king as his ridiculous photographs and stories – normally involving him firing guns and riding jeeps with an entourage of beautiful women behind him – have turned him from pretty much a nobody ten years ago into one of the most followed people on the platform.

Bilzerian has been teasing an autobiography for some time – it was announced a real long time ago, but he hated the version a ghost writer submitted so gave the advance back to the publisher and decided to write it himself – but it looks like it’s finally arriving very soon. Bilzerian announced the news via his Instagram page and also accompanied it with a ridiculous trailer and an extract from the first chapter:

I was bullied as a kid, didn’t have many friends, and believe it or not, I had a hard time getting laid. Given where I started, where I ended up might seem impossible, but I am going to take you on the journey and explain as we go.
From a young age I was breaking the rules and trying to find boundaries that didn’t really exist. I went from a guy who was made fun of relentlessly to “the most famous man in the world without a talent.” I’ll show you how I did that too, but once again, that probably isn’t going to work for you because most people are too afraid of judgement to own who they are and accept the controversy.
Oh God. That sounds even stupider and more Dan Bilzerian than I could ever have imagined it would be and I am 100% here for it. Definitely going to have to pick up this book so I can ‘review’ it and secretly be fascinated about how such a person as Dan Bilzerian can exist and be so ‘successful’ and sleep with so many women. I’ll probably be using ‘The Setup’ myself before long.
