You can’t bullshit a bullshitter, and a couple of kids learnt that the hard way this week when they tried to hustle rapper DaBaby into paying way too much for a box of candy.
Needless to say, he didn’t take the bait…

$200? For a box of skittles? Lad, what were you thinking? As DaBaby said – you have to do the math. 34 pieces of candy at $2 a pop. For those who don’t follow that’s $68 for the box. Big up DaBaby for picking up on that because I really wasn’t sure he was going to. The funniest part is his mate then asked for $400 for his box of candy! $400!
Naturally these lads are getting meme’d to death on social media and some people are even having a go at DaBaby for being ‘too mean’ to them. Well I don’t think it’s fair to say he was being mean; he actually taught these kids a valuable lesson about honesty. Hopefully they were able to sell the rest of their candy over the course of the day and turn a profit, or at least break even. But maybe calm down just a tad when it comes to overpricing. You live and you learn.
