NFT Nick, also know as Nick O’Neill, NFTNick.eth, and NFTNick, is an American NFT entrepreneur and influencer who has gone viral this week after sharing a bunch of selfies on a Miami yacht and videos where he shows off how rich he is.

Unfortunately for NFT Nick, the internet scrutinised the sh1t out of his photos and videos and found a few inconsistencies between what Nick was claiming and what we’re looking at in the photos (as well as just trolling him for having zero women on board the yacht with him)…

As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, the Community Notes feature on X really did NFT Nick dirty by claiming a $5000 champagne bottle in his video was actually worth less than $85, that his private chaffeur was actually an Uber driver, and that his private cinema was actually a shared screening room…

Brutal stuff, although it does seem like NFT Nick is leaning into this whole act now which I guess is the best thing he can do at this point. He’s even got his “Choose rich” catchphrase trending all over the internet (which may or may not have jacked from Wolf of Wall Street). Seems he’s still fully invested in ‘choosing rich’ despite Community Notes shooting down pretty much everything he Tweets.
What we can say for sure is that NFT Nick is pretty entertaining (despite having one of the most punchable faces in history), so as long as people aren’t quite sure if he’s genuinely deluded/obnoxious or just performing a masterclass in satire, they’ll continue to tune into his X account where he’s already racked up 150,000+ followers.
