Unfortunately there’s no way Brits are ever going to get through a major football tournament without a bunch of fights kicking off in pubs around the country, and sure enough this was the horrific scene at a pub in Crossgate, Leeds this week during one of the games:

Awful stuff. Watched it a bunch of times and still can’t work out who is on who’s team. The guy who brutally KO’d the man with the stool at the end seemed to be on his side at the beginning of it! Although I guess by that point it had devolved into a full-blown Royal Rumble where no one even knows who they’re fighting against. Classic flat roof football pub mentality.

Also “Why are ya videoin’?” Because there’s a scrap going down, obviously! “You’re a weirdo you” says the one person upset about a video and not the massive fight kicking off in front of her.

Anyway, the best part about the whole clip? This ‘Knowledge Is Power’ sign up on the pub wall while everyone is lobbing chairs and beating the sh1t out of each other…

Profound. Here’s hoping no one was too seriously hurt during this brawl (especially the guy at the end) and that the hangover was worth it in the end.
