Crash Bandicoot was one of the great games on the original Playstation, but the character’s been in the wilderness for some time now until Sony recently announced that it was remastering the original trilogy for its current consoles.

Obviously everyone was super excited about this as it gives us the chance to relive our youths, only with much better graphics, and it looks like Sony aren’t going to disappoint us if this first footage is anything to go by.

It looks as though pretty much nothing has changed about the original games, with the original sound effects, music and gameplay all staying intact and only the graphics being updated. Looks pretty spectacular to be honest:

Yep, I can’t wait to get my hands on that. It looks so much better with the graphics like this and the video really emphasised that by showing the old versions up agains the new ones.

Seriously super stoked for this one, although we don’t have a release date for it just yet, just 2017 which is pretty annoying. Hopefully it won’t be too late in the year though.
