As far as gimmicky horror movies go, it’s a surprise nobody had already thought of the plot to Justin Dec’s ‘Countdown’ because it seems like the most obvious film plot ever, especially for the times we live in.

Here’s the synopsis:

When a nurse downloads an app that claims to predict exactly when a person is going to die, it tells her she only has three days to live. With time ticking away and a figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.

That looks so bad that it might actually be worth watching? Plus Tom Segura’s in it so it can’t actually be too bad, can it? 

Think I might actually check it out when it comes out in October.

Definitely watching ‘El Camino‘ first though.
