Last week we featured a video of some dude who was pinned down and tasered by cops but amazingly still managed to get away from them. No such luck for this dude in Sao Paolo whose arrest leads to an ultra tense stand off between the police and public, ending with one street vendor getting shot at pretty much point blank range:

Word is the man later died in hospital. It’s best to keep out of police business in Brazil, where 1 in 229 arrests ends in death. To put that into perspective, 1 in 32,000 arrests end in death in the US.

At least there was someone filming – as we know, it’s always a good idea to film the feds in action.
