It’s not been a great couple weeks for Chris Eubank Jr ahead of his clash tomorrow night (April 26) with Conor Benn at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

First, his own dad called him a ‘disgrace’ and said he would never be in his corner, and now he’s managed to miss weight by just 0.05 pounds at the official weigh in.

In fact, according to Sky Sports News, he missed the middleweight limit by 0.2 pounds on his first attempt, and his second attempt saw him miss it again by 0.05 pounds.

This means Eubank Jr now faces a £375,000 fine ahead of the fight.

Here’s how Conor Benn reacted to the news:

Even with all these L’s before the fight, Chris Eubank Jr seems to be the favourite going into this showdown. He’s the much bigger fighter and has beaten genuine world class opposition. He’s fought at a much higher weight and gone up against bigger punchers.

Then again, it’s a fight, so anything can happen. From the way things are looking, Conor Benn is going to come out firing and try to take Eubank Jr out early. If he doesn’t manage that and his stamina starts to fade, expect Eubank Jr to put an absolute beatdown on him. Can’t wait to watch it all go down tomorrow night. Main event ring walks expected around 10PM.
