Comedian Hans Kim has been under fire this week for some jokes he cracked about Matthew Perry’s death on an episode of Kill Tony recently. The live audience seemed to find it funny, but the internet was apoplectic with rage (as usual). Here’s a reminder in case you missed it:

Well, it appears that Hans Kim is actually very happy with the mainstream coverage his Matthew Perry jokes have received. So much so that he provided another one when addressing the backlash on Twitter earlier:

Fair play to Hans Kim for doubling down. That’s a sign of a fearless comedian right there! In fact I reckon even Matthew Perry would appreciate these dark jokes at his expense.

I guess comedians can’t actually know the limits of what’s funny and what isn’t unless they push the envelope with their jokes. Which is something Hans Kim also did with this take on the Israel-Palestine situation recently:
