A classic case of the internet meeting real life this week as comedian Jaime Caravaca was confronted on stage by a man he had trolled online a few days earlier. And by ‘trolled online’, I mean he made extremely gross and inappropriate jokes about the man’s three-month-old son.

Before we get to the offending joke, let’s take a look at what happened when Alberto Pugilato confronted Jamie Caravaca on stage:

Surely no joke from a comedian, online or not, could be so triggering that it would prompt you to travel to the comic’s show, buy tickets and attack them on stage, right? Well, you might feel differently after reading the joke in question, which was in response to an innocent photo of Pugilato with his 3-month-old:

And the translation, which I’m not even sure I should be posting because it’s so disgusting:

“Nothing and no one will be able to avoid the possibility that he is gay, and when he grows up he gets tired of sucking black c*ck. And black workers, no soccer players. How wise the weather is, it’s time to wait.”

I mean, that’s a pretty mental thing to say about someone’s infant. No wonder Pugilato was so vexed!

Obviously, this wasn’t a random joke out of the blue from Caravaca. Apparently Pugilato is some kind of right-wing activist and as a left-wing comedian, Caravaca thought he would wind him up with a crass joke about his son. He obviously didn’t count on Pugilato turning up to his comedy gig and smacking him in the face, although it’s probably the sort of thing you should see coming.

The fact this comedian was so loud and proud online but literally cowering into a corner in person just about says it all really. If the joke was actually funny, we might even be defending him instead. But it was just noncey and weird. Do better, Caravaca!

For the time comedian Matt Rife caught backlash for telling a 6-year-old that his mum buys his presents with OnlyFans profits, click HERE.
