I dare say that most of the footballing world were overjoyed with the fact that Messi finally managed to get his hands on the World Cup trophy following last month’s tournament in Qatar, but hardly anyone decided to celebrate by getting a really bad facial tattoo of the legendary footballer. And we’re talking really, really bad here.

Colombian influencer Mark Jambs is the man in question and to the surprise of absolutely nobody he now regrets getting one of the most awful tattoos in the history of the world on his face. Here’s what he had to say about his decision:

I’m not harming anyone, I’m not doing anything illegal.

I’m sorry I got the tattoo, having done that, instead of bringing me positive things, came thousands of negative things both personally and for my family.

They just say that I’m not a positive example for society.

I didn’t think I’d be saying this so soon and I felt very proud of what I’d done in the first few days, but I now wish I hadn’t done it.

I want to erase my tattoo, because my life changed negatively. I don’t know how such a procedure works.

Be careful with your words. You don’t know the damage you can do to someone because of social media. You don’t know how you can destroy your life.

What a bummer for the guy. I would say that I feel sorry for him but the tattoo is so bad and stupid that I can’t believe that anyone with a brain would think that it had ever been a good idea in any way, shape or form, so absolutely no sympathy from me.

I’m sure that due to the fact the guy is an influencer he can probably Crowdfund some money to get it removed or something. He’ll figure it out, but honestly, what a complete moron.
