We should all be doing what we can to help the climate where possible, but I’m not sure the recent tactics undertaken by climate change activists like Just Stop Oil have been particularly helpful. For example, climbing onto the table at the World Snooker Championships or hurling soup at paintings or gluing themselves to the road.
One activist over in Sweden this week decided to take his protest to the grandest stage of them all by invading the stage at the country’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ finale. Here’s how that turned out for him:

Lol. Respect to whoever dubbed in that WWE commentary because that was perfect, but not as perfect as the camera operator’s aim just ramming his equipment right into the activist’s face. That camera has to weigh at least 50kg, surely? Travelling at 20mph or whatever that could’ve done some serious damage to the poor guy.
Still, what the activist will be most upset about is that his message never got to air. No one knows what his banner read or what point he was trying to get across, because before anyone knew what was happening he had a face full of camera turning his brains into scrambled eggs.
