The Department for Communities and Local Government have announced that they’re planning to double littering fines from between £50 – £80, up to £150 if you don’t pay your fine on time.

Fair enough I guess, littering is a shit thing to do so extortionate fines are a good deterrent.

But what really took the piss, is that Communities minister Marcus Jones kick-started a new campaign called #CleanForTheQueen in an attempt to get us cleaning the streets ourselves, or risk making the Queen feel sad.

Naturally, no one was really up for it:

So I guess the streets are about to get grimier, if anything.

Still, nowhere near as brutal as when Conor McGregor told her to go F herself.
