As if our childhood hadn’t been ruined enough by these pictures of our cartoon heroes becoming drug addicts, Christine Cavanaugh – who you probably best know as the voice of Chuckie from Rugrats and Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory – has unfortunately passed away at the age of 51. The cause of her death has yet to be released.

Christine Cavanagh

Although her voice was in literally loads and loads of shows/films, she retired back in 2001 so it’s safe to say she had been living the last 13 years in relative comfort before she bit the bullet. Throughout her career Christine also leant her vocal talents to Babe the pig, Gosyln Mallard in Darkwing Duck and Oblina in Aaah! Real Monsters, as well as supporting roles in The X-Files, Salute Your Shorts and Jerry Maguire, amongst many others. R.I.P.
