His wife Talinda – who he was married to for eleven years – took to TikTok to share a heartbreaking message:
@tmomma1976 5 years. I didnt think I could breathe this long without you. R.I.P. my love #grief #widow #suicideawarness ♬ Give Me Your Name – Dead By Sunrise
Just sitting here thinking that I can’t believe it’s been five years since I last saw you and kissed your sweet face goodbye.
5 years. I didn’t think I could breathe this long without you. R.I.P. my love.”
Geez. As if that wasn’t sad enough, one of their three children Tyler also shared a tribute to his late father on TikTok, saying the following:
@thetylerbennington #greenscreen i cant believe its been half a decade without you. If you or any one you know struggles with mental illness, please get the help you need. Man oh man that really is sad isn’t it? Probably a bit too early in the morning for it to be honest but there you go.
I haven’t really got anything to add to this one except to reiterate both their comments and talk to someone if you’re struggling. Really could be the difference between life or death.
For more of the same, check out this video of Chester Bennington just hours before his suicide. He doesn’t look sad at all.
