Today, people who have to go to Chernobyl to work are only allowed to stay five hours per day for a month, and must then take 15 days off. It’s no joke, scientists think that the area won’t be habitable again for humans for another 20,000 years.

One positive from all of this mayhem is that the animals have moved back in and, surprisingly enough, seem to be thriving without mutation. It’s as if they have adapted. Here’s a wolf looking pleased as punch that the locals have buggered off for the last couple of decades:

So the take home message today is as follows: Life is strong. Humans are stupid.
