It’s been three years since the ‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare’ reboot landed on our consoles and whilst we’ve all been excited about the sequel coming out later this year, there hasn’t been any actual footage of it until the reveal trailer dropped yesterday.

The game sees the return of Ghost, Soap and Gaz as well as a couple more old favourites as Task Force 141 allegedly take on a Latin American drug cartel. Not much else is know about it yet, but take a look at the trailer below and see what you think anyway:

Well that looked hectic didn’t it, although it kinda seems like Iran was mentioned a lot more than some Latin American drug cartel so maybe that detail was wrong? I guess it remains to be seen.

There’s another much longer gameplay reveal trailer dropping today at Summer Game Fest today which shows a playthrough of an actual level of the game, so be sure to check back later when we’ll be posting that. I hope there’s lots of jumping out of helicopters and firing at people upside down like there was at the start of the trailer above, but I’ve got a feeling that they’ll probably be saving something even better for this one. Should be sick.
