The internet might be excited about the fact that IO Interactive are developing a new James Bond game, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore the fact that they’re also releasing another sequel to the classic ‘Hitman’ franchise very soon.

The game is actually coming out very soon on January 20th, 2021 and we’re hoping that it’ll be worth the wait and way less glitchy than Cyberpunk 2077. The gameplay trailer below looks like it’s going to be more of the same, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing when the franchise is as strong and fun as it already is.

Yeah, that looks like a lot of fun doesn’t it, even if it is essentially just more of the same. The fact that you can approach assassinations in multiple different ways is a nice option though that looks like it’ll have more depth and choice than in previous incarnations of the title, although these games do often promise a lot and not deliver exactly what they’re saying. Only a month to wait until we find out, but I’ve got a feeling this one’s probably going to be pretty good.
