The Catholic Cat Choir, or ‘Duetto buffo di due gatti (Humorous duet for two cats) is what it sounds like – an entire musical composition made up of cat sounds.
The piece is normally mistakenly attributed to the Italian composer Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868). But the composer of ‘cat duet’ is said to actually be Robert Lucas de Pearsall, who wrote the piece in 1825.
Anyway, enough on that. Here’s a couple of choir boys from ‘Les Petits Chanteurs a la Croix de Bois (PCCB)’ in Paris, singing the song with absolute French flair:
Just wonderful. And by the reaction of the crowd, the song actually is lol funny. Good show boys.
